Singapore Polling Day
Q1: What should I know about voting while we're in Bali for the Marriage Getaway?
We understand that Polling Day coincides with our time in Bali, and some of you may be wondering about your options.
Do note that overseas voting is only available to Singaporeans residing overseas and does not apply to those on short overseas trips, such as attending the Marriage Getaway. To cast your vote, you would need to do so in person in Singapore on Polling Day.

If you are unable to vote this time, you may apply to restore your name to the registers of electors for future elections at Voter Services using your Singpass.

General Information
Q2: How do we get to the InterContinental Bali Resort in Jimbaran?
From Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar), you can easily reach the resort by taxi or ride-sharing services like Grab or Gojek, which are readily available outside the terminal. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
If you’ve arranged an airport transfer through the hotel, the hotel staff will assist you upon arrival.
Q3: Is there a Tourist Levy for visitors to Bali?
Yes, all international visitors to Bali are required to pay a Tourist Levy of IDR 150,000 (approximately SGD 12.20) upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar). Payment can be made online in advance or at the airport. For a smoother experience, we recommend paying via this official website.
Q4: When should we arrive on the first day of the Marriage Getaway?
Check-in time is at 3pm on 1 May (Thu).
Please proceed directly to the Puri Kencana Room at the resort’s convention centre to complete your check-in.
Our first session starts promptly at 5.30pm in the Imperial Ballroom.
If you arrive after 6pm, please check in at the Hotel Lobby instead.
Q5: What time is check-out on the last day?
Check-out is on 3 May (Sat) morning. To avoid queues, please check out at Pandawa Room 2 before Session 5.
If you have any outstanding room service payments, please settle them at the Hotel Reception.
Q6: Is Wi-Fi available at the resort?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.
Q7: Are there any spa or wellness facilities at the resort?
Yes! You can indulge in the luxurious Spa Uluwatu at the resort. Spa services are available at your own cost, but participants enjoy an exclusive discount (see below).
Meals and Facilities
Q8: Where and when are meals served?
Breakfast is served at Taman Gita and Jimbaran Garden from 6.30am to 11am. (Please note that our daily sessions begin at 10am at the Imperial Ballroom)
Lunch and dinner are provided as part of the programme—more details will be shared during the sessions.
Q9: Are there any special promotions for participants at the resort?
Yes! Marriage Getaway 2025 participants enjoy these exclusive discounts:
- 15% off Food & Beverage (excluding alcohol)
- 25% off spa treatments at Spa Uluwatu
Simply mention your room number or the code “XX” during transactions to enjoy these promotions.
Programme and Activities
Q10: Is there a dress code for the Marriage Getaway?
Yes! Please follow the assigned dress code for Session 1 on 1 May (Thu) and Sunset Dinner on 2 May (Fri). Complete guidelines can be found in the Dress Code section.
For all other sessions, meals, and activities, casual wear is perfectly fine.
Q11: Are all the scheduled activities mandatory?
We strongly encourage you to attend all sessions and meals, as they’re designed to enrich your experience. Any other activities or excursions outside the official schedule are optional and at your own cost.
